 INTRODUCTION

Crises can result from malicious actions, both external and internal, characterized by events that exceed normal expectations. Strong emotions such as fear and panic then disrupt rational thinking during crises, leading to poor decision-making. The idea here is to understand emotional responses in crisis management.

At such times, individuals often experience heightened emotions that can affect their responses. Teams face pressure from others to respond immediately during cyber attacks, complicating emotional management.

Companies need to train their staff to recognize and manage emotions, while maintaining a rational analysis during incidents. Incident response plans are essential, but may not cover all scenarios due to the changing nature of cyber threats.
